Effective for constipation
37 people found this helpful
I thought that oligosaccharides might help adjust the intestinal environment of my eldest daughter, who has suffered from constipation. I incorporated inulin, which acts as an oligosaccharide, into her diet, placing it in her food as it’s slightly sweet. The Now Foods inulin offers good value for money, though it dissolves poorly in cold items. Thankfully, my daughter's constipation has improved, and the unpleasant smell post-defecation has been reduced, indicating its effectiveness.

Refreshing digestion

More effective than indigestible dextrin, I bought inulin to improve my intestinal environment and relieve constipation. This fine, slightly sweet powder easily mixes with green juice before bed. Unlike common laxatives, I don't feel hungry after spending time ill; instead, I feel refreshed. I've found 5g daily is effective, so I can use a bottle for about three months. It's also a fantastic value! I will definitely purchase it again.

Skin condition improved

The baby's skin has cleared! Since starting the Nemechek Protocol a year and a half ago and drinking inulin, I noticed my 5-year-old son's skin on his forearms and thighs has become smooth and clear of small pimples, caused by follicular keratosis. Initially concerning, inulin seems to normalise the intestines, clearing the rash. After a break, the pimples returned, but upon resuming half a teaspoon of inulin, the rash has disappeared again!

Gentle yet effective

It works without discomfort! In cold water, it dissolves quickly, even without a shaker. It has a slightly sweet taste and can be enjoyed even on its own. Unlike laxatives, it doesn't cause abdominal pain but encourages visits to the bathroom. If you're lacking in dietary fibre, I strongly recommend it!

Overall well-being improved

My experience with inulin has been very positive. I have noticed improved digestion, and it helps maintain a healthy intestinal microflora. Since including this in my diet, I've felt lighter and experienced more efficient digestion. With a lesser frequency of seasonal colds, I avoid unhealthy snacks too, as inulin curbs my appetite. It has a mild, slightly sweet taste that easily blends into beverages and dishes, enhancing them without altering their flavours. Highly recommended for those looking to enhance their health.

Constipation concern
I bought it to relieve constipation. My constitution leads to suffering for a week without laxatives. It’s nearly tasteless with a hint of sweetness, and I often mix it with warm coffee or soup since cold solutions hinder dissolution. Two months later, my constipation hasn't improved, likely due to my irregular intake, suggesting daily use may yield results.

Slight improvements noted
I tend to suffer from constipation, hence my daily intake. I use it in combination with probiotics, which has shown slight improvement. Cold drinks make it difficult to dissolve, so I prefer it mixed with hot beverages. It has a mildly sweet taste, which is pleasant.
